V!nce (Vincent de Witt Huberts) creates paintings and collages using bright colors, and a variety of found imagery from around the world- juxtaposing the drab docility of modern life with bright and optimistic colors. The themes in his work are largely inspired by modern urban life, recent history, modern Asian culture from Iran to Japan, social commentary with roots in the punk sub-culture, the DIY ethic of early 90's skateboard culture, and not giving a damn. He blames it all on skateboarding.
